ENERGIEUNION GmbH has been operating in the German energy trading sector since 1998. For its customers, municipal utilities, industrial enterprises and redistributors, it provides direct access to the wholesale markets for electricity, natural gas and EUA on exchanges and through brokers. 

With over 130 trading partners in Germany, Europe and further afield, up to 50,000 trading transactions are carried out every year on behalf of customers and for the company’s own account. 

As a service provider, the company also provides portfolio, risk and energy data management for more than 60 electricity and natural gas portfolios to meet a wide variety of objectives. Its subsidiary EnergieFinanz GmbH, which is licensed by the Federal Financial Supervisory Authority, manages trust assets on its customers’ behalf and trades in energy-specific financial derivatives on exchanges.
