Philipp Teipel (44) joins the management team at goldgas GmbH, the nationwide energy provider headquartered in Eschborn, Hesse, on 1 August 2020. The qualified businessman comes from eprimo GmbH, where he has been Head of Controlling/Finance and Agile Lead since 2011, responsible for both commercial and operational matters. In addition to Philipp Teipel, who will take over as chairman of the management board, Frank Ruhland will continue to be a member of the goldgas Management Board. After the departure of André Burkhardt, he has temporarily been acting as sole Managing Director since February this year.

Prior to joining eprimo, Teipel held senior positions at E.ON Energy Trading Holding GmbH in Dusseldorf and at KPMG. In addition to his Business Studies degree at the Justus Liebig University Giessen, he successfully completed a part-time Master’s programme at the Goethe Business School of the University of Frankfurt am Main.
